Thankful.

We had a week at home for Thanksgiving.  We left early Sunday morning to make it to the Boeke Thanksgiving.  Charlie got to play with her cousins, Moxie, and Ajax.  Her new favorite toys at their house are her toolbox and beaded necklaces that she puts on and takes off over and over again.  Paul and I got to take a quick road trip to Galena on Tuesday and then went over to the Dowd house on Wednesday for the 2nd Thanksgiving/Christmas.

  Shannon, Dayle, Olivia and Emma drove from Colorado and Molly and Neil came on Wednesday.  This was the first time that Olivia and Charlie really played together and it was so much fun to watch.   The girls  opened presents together, ate lots of Christmas cookies, played piano, and chased each other all over the house.  Charlie's new favorite things there were her pink tutu and her stethoscope (which she slept with every night we were there).  It was a great week with lots of good food and family time.
