Charlie is getting old! 3 months on Friday. Her new favorite things are the bunny that Brit gave her, putting everything in her mouth, and bath time. We are a little nervous that she is teething. It seems early but at the rate that she is drooling all over everything makes us think that it is starting. She is talking a whole bunch this week and squeals every time she sees her dad.
Charlie went to Cedar Rapids this week for a girls party with Aunt Molly, Grandma Barb and Chris to watch American Idol. She got to try out her new swimsuit at Molly's pool. Unfortunately it will be the first and last time she wears it because it was a little too tight. I am afraid she already has a bad habit. She loves watching t.v. ! Her favorites are Real Housewives, South Park, and American Idol.
She got to meet her Uncle Jake this week and hung out at Eddy's Pub and Grub in Hubbard. She met her Great Aunt Susan and Uncle Lyle for the first time and they gave her a new swimsuit!

Baptism/Mother's Day.
Last Sunday Charlotte was baptized at Nazareth. It was a great day because it also happened to be my first mother's day. I have been a mom for almost 12 weeks now and it has flown by. It seems like Charlotte has been here for a lot longer.
Shannon and Olivia made the trip home from Colorado for the weekend. We also had 3 great grandmas and a great grandpa, great aunts and uncles, aunts and uncles, and both sets of grandparents there. Charlotte was great during the whole service and we enjoyed a meal at Brown Bottle afterwards.
Paul had the week off so we got to make a trip to Minneapolis to see some Luther friends and hang out with Scott and Lauren at a Black Keys concert. I don't know if Paul wanted to spend time during his week off shopping but we made it to Ikea and West Elm to shop for new home stuff. I tried to make it as painless as possible. So exciting to think about decorating our new home!
