Girl's Weekend.

Papa was at a conference in Iowa City this weekend so Charlie and I had a great girl's weekend.  We went to the park, got ice cream, and went to the movies for the first time.  

Little Swimmers.

Every Wednesday Charlie and I go to Little Swimmers at the ARC.  It is for an hour and lots of kids go each week.  Charlie used to love being in the water but lately she only wants to play with the noodles and walk back and forth on a line on the floor (she pretends it is a balance beam).  She got a new swimsuit for her birthday from Lindsey and everyone comments on how cute it is.

Girly girl.

On Thursday Charlie and I had some quality girl time: Frozen, curling our hair, and tiaras.

Outside.

We had two days in a row above 70 degrees here so Charlie and I made the most of it.  After work Monday we went to Lucky's for our favorite things: strawberries, blueberries, and popcorn.  We went to the park both days, went on lots of walks, played with sidewalk chalk and bubbles, and opened up the windows in our house.  I forgot how nice it is to be able to get outside with Charlie instead of coloring and watching t.v. all day.  I can't wait until we can go to the splash pads and pool every day this summer.
