Football season.

Going Bonkers.

Charlie and I had the day off so we went to Going Bonkers.  It is a gym, arcade, and place for kids to spend all of their parents money.  She hasn't been taking naps lately so I thought I would try to wear her out.  Charlie had the most fun with the motorcycle and car racing games and the dance floor.  She loves motorcycles and yells "Papa" at anyone on one.  It was a  good way to spend a really hot afternoon when all of the pools were closed.  

18 months.

My sweet girl is a year and a half.  She seems so grown up all of a sudden.  She learns so many new words everyday and understands so much.  It is fun to hang out with her and see how she sees the world.

I love this stage.

Minnie.

Charlie and I stopped at Target today to pick up a few things.  We somehow made it to the toy section and she found huge Minnie and Mickey stuffed animals right away.  She pulled them all out and kept yelling,"Mineot" (which means more).  When Charlie and I go on slides I always count down before we go.  I say one, and Charlie always says two.  I told Charlie today that she could get one of the stuffed animals.  I couldn't believe that I was actually letting her get another toy, but she was so excited about them.  When I would say one, Charlie would say two and hold up Minnie and Mickey.  I doubt she knew that she had two toys but you never know.  She carried them around the store struggling to keep ahold of them.  They were almost as big as her.  I was laughing so hard in the store and everyone around us was chuckling as they saw her on a mission to take both of them home.  I buckled and Charlie is a proud new owner of a large Minnie.

Hubbard.

We went to Hubbard last weekend to celebrate Paul's birthday early.  Paul went golfing with all of the guys, and I went to Des Moines for the day.  I hung out with Lindsey and went shopping.  Charlie got to spend the day with Grandma Julie, Rhonda, and her cousins.  The weather was perfect while we were there.  We spent a lot of time outside.  I think Charlie and Chloe both love the farm.

Estes Park.

We had a great week in Estes with my family.  The guys went fly fishing and golfing while the girls went shopping at Flat Iron.  We spent a lot of time at the playground at Rams Horn going down the slide and playing in the rocks.  There was a lot of Minnie Mouse in the cabin for Olivia's birthday.  It was a lot of fun to see Olivia and Charlie interact more together.  They chased each other up the stairs, played with the telephone, and watched Mickey Mouse together.  We spent a day in Fort Collins at the New Belgium and Funkworks.  Paul and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary by going out to eat downtown Estes Park and walking around.  It was a fun week with lots of good memories.
