Dentist..

Charlie went to the dentist for the first time today.  I have been trying to play it up the last couple of days but bracing myself for a big meltdown.  I have heard so many horror stories from other moms.  We started out reading fun magazines in the waiting room.  When we got called the hygienist let us go up the elevator.  Charlie sat still the whole time and was excited about her sunglasses, raspberry fluoride, and the prizes she got for the no cavity club.  It was definitely a proud mom moment for me.

On the move.

Georgia can't quite crawl yet, but she manages to scoot around somehow to move into different places.  She is into everything.  Anything we have on the table is not safe anymore.  I love this age but forgot how much work it is too.

Georgia has tried a lot of different foods, puffs, and yogurt melts and doesn't seem to mind anything.  Charlie is having fun feeding her.

Finally summer.

It has been so nice to be able to be outside again.  We have spent time each day in our yard, playing with chalk and having picnics.  I write out the alphabet and Charlie traces the letters.  She is getting pretty good at it.

This weekend we went home for a quick trip to drop Charlie off at the Boeke's.  We spent time outside in the pool and went to a splash pad.  It was nice to get some sun.   The girls both like being in the water and laying on the rafts.  Georgia had her first orange push up popsicle.
