Fall.

We had a great weekend at home doing "fall things".  We watched football Saturday and cheered on the Hawks.  Anytime a game is on Charlie will randomly yell out "Hawkeye" or "Herky".  I think Paul is proud that they are some of her first words.

Paul went to Des Moines for a bachelor party so Charlie and I had a girl's weekend.  We watched a lot of Mickey's Clubhouse Saturday night. Today we went to a Garden Center with Megan, a spouse of a first year Ophthalmology resident.  They had goats, ducks, rabbits, parakeets, chickens, and cats.  Charlie fell in love with the goats and got to fed them.  We picked out some little pumpkins for Charlie to play with.  Megan and I had pumpkin spice lattes while we walked around.  It is definitely starting to feel like fall.

Weekend at home.

We went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures.  We got a couple from Julie.  All of our friends were in town, and we had a great time.  Charlie came for the reception.  She danced the night away with the rest of the little kids.  We had to tear her away when it was her bedtime.

Everybody poops.

I bought a toilet seat awhile ago in hopes that Charlie would start to potty train.  She actually pooped on the toilet this week so I took her to Dairy Queen to celebrate.  It probably won't happen every time she does it but I really wanted to positively reinforce it.
