Week with Grandparents.

Charlie got to spend a few days in Cedar Falls with the Boeke's and Dowd's.  As you can tell from the pictures, she had a pretty busy week.  She went to many parks, made cookies, got a Halloween costume, made crafts, went to a pettting zoo, and had lots of treats.  We met her in Hubbard and took her to Erin's wedding in Des Moines Saturday.  We got to see a lot of our friends that we miss so much!  Charlie had a blast running around and dancing with Maya and Jackson.

Girl's weekend.

Sayings from this weekend.
As she was getting on her pajamas last night, "Another perfect day."
Everyone is her "best friend" and every color is her "favorite".
She also started saying,"Mom", like an annoyed teenager.

It was just me and Charlie for the weekend.  We spent a lot of time painting and playing at home with new food for her kitchen.  Yesterday was so perfect outside so we went to Lucky's, had pizza for lunch, and listened to a band play outside.

Potty training.

We have started potty training.  We bought underwear, a new ladybug toilet, and a big bag of m & m's.  She has been doing pretty well so far.  The first time she pooped on the toilet she looked down at it and said,"What is that?".  She was so disgusted.

Her first accident pooping on the floor was today and she came running to me and said,"Holy smokes, that is a lot of poop on the floor!".  I tried really hard not to laugh.

Iowa City.

We spent labor day weekend in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids.  My parents spent the night Friday night at the Mulhollands too.  Charlie got to spend all of Saturday with Molly.  They went to the farmer's market, Old McDonald's Farm, and to the park.  We got to tailgate and walk around Iowa City.  Paul went to the game, and I spent the day with Luther friends.  We spent both nights at Molly and Neil's house.  Charlie loves playing with Guinness and Chloe actually joined in too.
