Weekend.

We went home to Cedar Falls this weekend to see some more family and friends.  It was Grandma Julie's birthday, and we were able to meet Lyssa Van Cleave's son Rex (Charlie's future boyfriend).   Charlie got to meet her Uncle Neil and was able to see Uncle Scott and Aunt Mo again.  She was very good and handled being passed around very well.   Charlie got to visit some of my favorite places in CF; Von Maur, Scratch Bakery, and Pump Haus. 

On Sunday we weighed Charlie again at the Family Health Center at Broadlawns and she was up to 9 lb 10 oz.  It is time to put away the newborn and 0-3 months clothes already!  We are thankful for the nice weather and being able to get out for walks.    Paul and I went to Jim Gaffigan Sunday night for our first date since she was born.  It was great to get away for a bit, but I was definitely checking the time for when we could come home to see her.  She went 6 hours straight sleeping during the night Sunday night.  It was amazing!

We had a great week at home with the 3 of us.   We had lots of visitors (Grandma Dowd, Aunt Molly, Erin, Emily, and lots of Paul's coworkers from Broadlawns.   The residents here are providing us with meals alnost every night and they have been amazing.  We are spoiled here!  Charlie got to get out of the house a bit with trips to the gas station, Target, and Smokey D's restaurant.  She might not remember these outings because she slept through all of them.   It was nice not having anything to do besides spend time together and take care of our little girl.

On Friday we went to see Dr. Severidt for her checkup.  She weighs 8.2 lbs and seems to be very healthy.  We just need her to gain some weight now.  Grandma and Grandpa Boeke visited during the weekend as well as Great Aunt Rhonda and Great Uncle Jeff. 

Paul is back at work today, and Charlie and I are trying to be productive.  Here are some pictures that we have taken over the last week.  I want to remember to take pictures often because she is changing so much.
