St. Louis.

We went to St. Louis yesterday one last time while we are only 2 hours away.  We had heard so much about the Magic House since we have moved here so we had to try it out.  Charlie loved it.  There were so many things to look at and places to play.  It is fun to watch her get excited about fishing, fixing cars, building, and bubbles.

Paul and I have really started to like Urban Chestnut brewery since we have been in Missouri.  We made a stop on the way home to one of their beer gardens.  We had a warm pretzel with mustard and I got my favorite beer, Schnickelfritz.  It was a great treat after being surrounded by crazy kids all day.

Grandma Barb in Columbia.

Grandma wanted to come down one last time before we moved.  She watched the girls while I got some stuff done.  We went to the splash pad at Stephen's Lake for the first time this year.  It was a really hot day so the water felt really good.  Georgia didn't seem to mind the water and Charlie had a lot of fun splashing us.

KC.

We wanted to make one last trip to Kansas City while we are still only 2 hours away.  We managed to fit a lot in for a day and a half.  We went to Liberty and stayed with the McKnights on Friday night.  Charlie loves playing with Max and Charlotte.  Goldie and I went to a concert downtown Kansas City while Dustin and Paul watched the kids.

Saturday morning we met up with the McAuley's in Shawnee for their town festival.  Charlie rode on the carousel, played games, and played with Beckett.  She was so excited to win surprises (prizes).  We went to Ikea next.  I knew exactly what I wanted to get, but it still took over an hour to walk through the whole store.  Charlie laid down at one point and asked how she could get out the place.

Our last stop was at Eschweiler's to see their new house and puppies.  They were all over Charlie and Georgia and both girls were pretty happy.  We went out to eat and then headed home exhausted but really glad we went.

5 months.

I can't believe she is 5 months and we are just one month from moving.  She is really starting to recognize people.  She loves to chew on anything and everything.  Her bottom tooth is coming in and I can feel the top one coming in a little bit.  She took one whole ounce of a bottle last week so we are hopeful she will eventually take a bottle!  She giggles when Charlie and I blow on her stomach and give her kisses.

Graduation.

Paul had his residency graduation dinner this last weekend.  It was a really nice night.  It was fun to hear stories about Paul and how well he does at work.  It was really nice to be out with everyone and leave the kids at home for a bit.  I am really proud of him and how hard he works.
